I've dropped out for a while. I got into this scene was i was living in Baltimore at age 15 and 11 years later I'm glad it's still alive. I took a break from clubbing for about 2 years and so it's nice to see everyone out again and having fun. I don't really know anyone, but oh well. What i love most about the goth scene is the number of true characters that are always there. There are some extrememly unique people in this universe that i admire. My daily life would probably bore most of you. I have a really cool boss who doesn't mind me looking somewhat freakish even though we often have to deal with suit and tie types. And I've had 11 years to practice witty comebacks to "Why do always wear all black?" At least mom finally realized it wasn't a phase! I work in construction management and there's nothing more amusing than swooping onto a burly job site for a meeting donned in all black with hair and fabric flowing and silver everywhere, surprisingly, the hardhats (as we call them) don't harrass me. Physical stuff: about 5-5, good old irish lass pale skin and italian dark hair. actually, if i roll my hair right, i'm close to spitting image of Judy Garland (before she lost it!) the only thing truly remarkable is a bunch of tats i have. my right arm has a 3/4 sleeve of some art nouveaux stuff and my back has japapnese stuff. (more to come!) i like to spend time walking around the city and people watching and observing how the city changes. I like to try and make my own clothes sometimes, since i can never quite find exactly the right thing...lately, really into corsets....i'm a fan of classic movies with divas like rita hayworth and lauren bacall, et. al. I like to ramble (may have noticed!), I hate gossip, I love to talk to anyone who has interesting things on their mind and are not just obsessed with knowing everyone's business. I rarely talk personal stuff, I don't know why, I just don't, so this isn't easy!! I listen to a lot of the same music that just about everyone here probably likes, and i love rockabilly and a million other kinds of music. i will say that a few years ago i worked with a group that helped to renovate Ft. Tryon Park and some other upper Manhattan parks because of their heinous conditions (before, of course). I see that there is a picnic in Ft. Tryon and if anyone would like some historical info on the neighborhood and park, drop me a line. If I go to the picnic, I could also show some people around nearby Highbridge Park, which is amazing. blah blah blah. I can't think, the brain's too flustered right now. I hope this has been entertaining for you.
