Sender: X-Originating-IP: 63.89.10.194 See, I was just going to post on why I hadn't seen much mention of the upcoming Neubauten show at Irving Plaza (8/01 & 8/02). I actually only heard about it because some friends in Pittsburgh called me and told me they wanted to come out and see it. Perhaps I've been reading the wrong threads. So anyway, on with the intro... My name's Krista. I've been on this list since late '96, I think. Been terribly quiet for at least a year now, probably because I've spent little time in the city. Still here because its my one vague connection to 'goth' things going on in the city. Been back in the area a year now, maybe a month or two shy of that. Prior to that I had been mainly living in Atlanta, GA where I received a BA in Art History & Italian from Emory. I spent a good part of my last two years there hopping between there and Rome, Italy when I could get the cash or grant to do so. Currently work at an Ad Agency in the production department where I'm learning how to produce TV & Radio commercials from the agency end of things. Looking to hopefully have a new job and move (to either Chicago or Toronto) by the end of the year and get the chance to actually work on a set again rather than be stuck in an office. How I got here from a degree in art history is a little beyond me. Though one of these years I would like to go back to school and complete a PhD in art history. As for the perpetual question of music tastes, I listen to a lot of things..don't know what you'd call 'em all, though they generally fall under the goth, deathrock, punk, rockabilly sort of thing. Currently in the CD changer however are the follow: Social Distortion, The Ghastly Ones, Six String Samuari Sndtk., Tom Waits & The Smiths. I should stop wasting time work and finish things up so I can get out of here on time. -Krista
