I am moving to NYC on the 24th from California so i decided to sign up on a list to find infrormation on this huge city and meet people...and every one seems really nice and there aren't constant flame wars like on the "San Francisco Goth" list. thank-god. I really wish i could go to the picnic, but i will still be in Ca then. Have a marvelous time every one. Well, if you cannot tell by my name, i am a girl (if that's of any importance). I'm originally from Moscow but i haven't been back for a while. I'm pretty short (boots fix that really quick though), have short black hair and all the rest of the normal stuff. How boring... i have a passion for this scene and for the people. It is just such a beautiful and fanciful dark world. To me it is perfect. Once, i met a guy named Steve at a Switchblade Symphony concert in SF. He looked a little like Ross from C.D. and had the sexiest stutter. Though i have not yet met anyone else who stutters i still think a stutter is wonderfully sexy. I paint. Actually i quit painting since it is highly addictive. And my dad always said any habit is a bad habit. i decided to stop before it was out of control. Now i am going through withdrawals and am constantly thinking about this movie idea i have. Its not really a movie, its more like a moving painting. Like say you are looking at a painting, and a good painting (to me) consists of three things: the painting itself has to be beautiful to look at, have symbolism have a theme and significance. so i am thinking of a movie with those qualities, but it wont just be one picture, every second will be like a new painting. Make sense? my favorite band of all time is Devil Doll. they are from Yugoslavia, live in Italy, but sing in English. They play with the Yugoslavian National Orchestra, a real church Organ, guitar, drums, etc etc. Mr. Doctor (the man who writes all the music and also sings) is a total genius and a professor at a college. His music can send you away like nothing i have ever heard. It clears your mind and just takes over. He has made 11 (i think) different albums but has authorized the release of only five for reasons not really known. His stuff used to be really hard to find but now you can order it form Cranium music. Well, that is it, i hope to run into some of you at clubs, though i wont be going to too many because of those age limits. Oh, what can one do but wait? truly, Xenia
